  • If sales tax was collected between $8,000.01-$100,000.00-Filing frequency is Semi Monthly and must be filed twice on or before the 25th of the same month and 10th of the next month.
  • If sales tax was collected $100,000.01 and above-Filing frequency is Quad Monthly and must be filed Within three banking days of the 7th, 15th, 21st and last day of the month electronically.
  • You should file the next business day, if the due date falls on a holiday.
  • You must file a zero tax return, even if you have no sale to report.

 

Kansas Sales Tax Certificate Cancellation

  • You must notify to the Kansas Department of Revenue that you are closing out business
  •  File final sales tax returns with dues, if you have any.
  • You cannot reinstate sales tax, license Kansas, once it is canceled and you have to apply for a new sales tax number.
